***********************
Many of you know I have been involved in the Abraham Accords, which guarantee Israel’s right to exist. Unfortunately, Egypt, which signed the Abraham Accords, was attacked by Iran. Although missiles were not fired into Egypt’s populated areas, the Sinai desert region was targeted, with no loss of life.
Seeking safety for the people of Egypt and potential tourists, President Sisi greatly reduced tourist travel to and within Egypt and totally disallowed tourism in the Sinai region.
However, as Benjamin Franklin once wrote, “For every grey cloud, there is a silver lining.” As it relates to Egypt, this silver lining is forming amid the horrible conflict. I have been in close contact with pastors in Egypt, who have confirmed to me that for the first time in 1000 years, the government has given permission for Christian congregations to join together in combined prayer meetings throughout Egypt to pray for God’s will regarding the conflict, for the safety of the Egyptian people, and for the protection of Israel. To date, with the approval of the Egyptian government, open cooperative prayer has been going around the clock, 24 hours per day for 21 consecutive days (as of April 9th). The gatherings have fluctuated from as few as 150 to 4,000 and more, who meet together and pray, pray and pray. Not to talk, support projects, fellowship, or have feasts. They are meeting just to intercede and to pray. No one is preaching or singing, no western missionary is leading, no musical group performing. This is totally and completely a sovereign move of God for the Egyptian people, by the Egyptian people, and facilitated by the Egyptian people. From the moment people arrive at the appointed location until they leave the location, prayer is offered nonstop. God is moving like He has not moved in more than 1000 years. One of the unbelievable miracles taking place is with our widows and orphans, some saved and healed. We have already shared with all of you about the miracle of God’s abundant supply with regard to our 15-acre farm in Egypt. According to the government’s official agriculture audit, these 15 acres have previously produced just over one ton of product per acre when we took over. “God’s Widows Farm” as of March and April’s audit went up to 13 tons per acre. PRAISE THE LORD!
God is always God, and He always comes through, many times unexpectedly and miraculously. Please join with the believers in Egypt and set aside a time to intercede on behalf of the war, Israel, the new believer’s freedom and that the move of God will overwhelm the Middle East as time begins to close its doors. If you have time for an extra prayer, also remember The Cubit Foundation. It has been a difficult year for us, but God is still God and will meet our needs.
Philippians 4:19 But My God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The Lord bless you all, and thank you so much for your prayers and support.
Dr. Ron Charles
John 14:27 I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
NEW BEGINNING!
Happy Spring to everyone! We had a wonderful Easter with our son at church and lunch with family. I always think of NEW BEGINNINGS at Easter. The flowers and trees are blooming in Georgia, and the temperature is starting to get warm.
I am so thankful for Jesus and what He does for us all. JESUS didn’t have to die on the cross for us. But He saw us in years to come and cared about each one of us.
I was talking to a friend from Toledo, OH, today, and she reminded me of our ministry beginnings in Ohio. When I started to remember, I thought many of you might not know our BEGINNING. There is so much to look back on, I will only skim over it. God has been with us all the way. We always tried to follow Him and walk in His footsteps the best we could. Ron and I were in an evangelist group when we first got married. But soon we left and started a family. Ron worked as an engineer in Texas, helped in churches, taught Sunday school, served as a youth pastor, and did whatever he could at his dad’s church. We moved to Ohio, where he was an engineer; he became an assistant pastor in Perrysburg, OH. Ron was ordained in the ministry in OH. NEW BEGINNING. We started a mission church in Oregon, OH, while still working. One day at lunch, Ron looked down from his office window and saw all the people. He heard in his heart, “You are drawing buildings that will last 100 years, but people’s lives will last forever.”
He resigned that day and went full-time in ministry. After we built a church, we went on to pastor a church in GA. In 1989, Ron started leading mission trips and bringing groups to many countries. In 1990, Ron went to Albania, and his life changed. He saw the need and never could stop the feeling that God wanted us there to help the people and bring Jesus to them.
A NEW BEGINNING! We started going back and forth to Albania. We went through many ups and downs financially, but God always made a way. Both Ronnie and Brad loved Albania, and I did too. Ronnie went the first time with Ron and sang at the foot of Stalin’s statue, when it was still illegal. God protected them all the time. Brad was the driver’s education teacher, because no one knew how to drive or had a car before communism fell. I just loved the people, and taught some of the women ways to cook inexpensively. We were in a country that had not allowed the name of God to be spoken for over 50 years. It became a country on fire for God; revival began, people were saved, churches were started, humanitarian aid came, and love was shown. We had a blessed time there.
Then, in 2000, Ron felt a calling to Egypt. What a big change! WHAT A VERY DIFFERENT NEW BEGINNING.
Egypt was very closed to Christians, and it took us 10 years before our first convert. God was still in control. We now support over 1500 widows and orphans monthly. We always give the food in Jesus’ name. Many widows have become believers. The government of Egypt opened the door to Christianity. Now we have Egyptian churches helping us and supporting widows and orphans. Our lives have gone through many,
NEW BEGINNINGS WITH JESUS BY OUR SIDE, AND ALL OF YOU TOO!
I never thought in a million years we would be missionaries. But God had a different plan for us.
God has a plan for each one of you. Maybe not on the mission field, but doing something for
Him. Just look around and see where you are needed, and God will lead you into
YOUR NEW BEGINNING! AMEN
I wonder what our next NEW BEGINNING will be?
Love you, Paula

Please remember these persecuted Christians, tattooed with a cross in many countries around the world. Please keep praying 5 min. a day for them. (Muslim by birth Christian by choice)
No one is talking about the Christians in Egypt, Gaza & Israel. Their persecution by Hamas is just as severe as that of the Jews and the Palestinians.
Please Pray.
Without your love and support Cubit could not do what we do. We appreciate you! Remember when you send us, you are right there with us! And we pray for you!!!
