UPCOMING EGYPT & DUBAI TRIP
Dr Ron will be accompanied by Pastor Raymond Hardy. This is our pastor from Lighthouse World Outreach Center in Monroe, GA.
Ron was so excited that he could come this time. They will be going to the church in Cairo that Lighthouse gave such a generous gift to continue construction, along with Cubit’s help. With your support, Cubit is able to help them monthly for their widows. The church has started a widows program, and many widows have given their hearts to the Lord and are attending their church. We are going to continue to help other churches in Cairo and in the villages to take on this project. Cubit does give them the funding and the food from “God’s Widow’s Farm,” and they are starting to evangelize Cairo. Praise the Lord! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! I have said this many times, but it is true. YOU ARE WALKING WITH US, AND EVERY WIDOW WE FEED AND EVERY ORPHAN WE HELP, YOU ARE THERE WALKING BESIDE US! God bless you all!!!! THEY THANK YOU TOO!
A few weeks ago, Pastor Hardy spoke on “Finding your Purpose,” in I Kings 1 & 2.
- What is your calling?
- What is your Commitment?
- What is your Success? Look not for your success in this world, but for your success in God. In any profession, you can be successful. You can be a teacher, farmer, builder, student, banker, garbage collector, retired, and so on. It doesn’t matter your profession, be a success for God. He will be with you always.
- Purpose: I Kings 2:2,3 So be strong and prove yourself. Fulfill your obligation, walk in His path, keep His statutes, commandments, and His life-map. You will succeed in everything you do wherever you go.
God keeps His promises! God created you for His purpose. Use the gifts God gave you. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you. God bless you all! We love you and appreciate you!

BRAD CHARLES UPDATE
Hello Supporters and Friends of Cubit,
I have been the director of Cubit’s Latin American efforts for more than twenty years, ministering from Mexico to Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Peru. I just returned from a great trip in Peru with my son, Cid. We celebrated his 18th birthday while hiking for six days on the ancient Inca trade trail from lower Peru to “The lost City of the Inca,” Machu Picchu. Local archeologists and historians claim the city was likely constructed in 1450 as an estate for the Inca emperor, Pachacuti. I’m not sure that’s necessarily true, but it was a cool place for me and my son to visit on his 18th birthday.
However, this trip was more than a vacation and more than a birthday present. Although Cubit had ministered in Peru several years ago, assisting indigenous people with the construction of sanitary facilities in some villages and distributing food, the areas were at a much lower elevation. They had a totally different indigenous population than the one we encountered on this trip. As we hiked, I felt in my heart that God wanted us to get involved with Peru again and to provide practical help and ministry for people in these mountains. So, I asked God to show me and to direct us to the right contacts who could open the doors to whomever God wanted us to help. He did not disappoint. He answered my prayer very quickly, with the two guides and six porters who traveled with us, who were from isolated indigenous Indian mountain villages. Most of those who live in these villages have very little, if any, contact with the outside world. I had the opportunity to talk to them about the Lord and discuss their villages, including their primary needs, and how we could help them both physically and spiritually. We then had the chance to pass through some of the mountain villages and saw firsthand the devastating poverty and the overall sad state in which the mountain villages existed. Although I immediately saw areas where we could help, I wanted to hear from them on what they felt were their greatest needs. They told me that there were three major needs where they needed help.
1). The children of the villages are required to go to school. So, they walk two hours every morning to get to their school and the same distance back every evening. No buses or cars can drive there. They do not have any school supplies. The school is too poor to provide the students with supplies; they can only dream about them. So, the major needs are pencils, paper, book bags, crayons and all that a student would need for school. They have nothing.
2). It is cold in the mountains, with rugged terrain, and most walk wherever they go, causing shoes, if they have any, to wear out quickly. Shoes are mandatory. But, because they are so poor, many do not have shoes or boots for winter.
3). Since it is cold most of the year, warm clothes, warm blankets and jackets are needed. Although the villagers raise alpaca, the fur from shearing them goes to buy food, leaving little, if any, money left to buy clothes, coats or blankets.
What Cubit has done throughout the world for the last 35 years, from Egypt, India, Sudan, Nepal, Mexico to Colombia, is to provide the needy people with practical help while at the same time telling and showing them the love of Jesus. So, not only do they hear about Jesus, but they see Him through us as we provide for their practical needs; AND YOU ARE ONE OF US!
One of the guides with whom I became close, Cesar, whose village is one of these that has such needs, will be making leadership contacts in the villages for us, so when I return, which will be soon, we can coordinate with these leaders and begin immediately to fulfill the three great needs of the villages. This opportunity was not by accident. In fact, I feel it was a direct answer to my prayer and, without a doubt, God’s directive.
PLEASE HAVE A HEART FOR PERU AND PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM! Please add 5 minutes a day for the villages in Peru and The Cubit Foundation as we follow His calling and go to all the world and preach the gospel.
Brad could use your help with the trip and with funding to buy the necessary materials when he arrives.
Thank you,
Brad Charles,
President of The Cubit Foundation
