DR. RON UPDATE: EGYPT SEPTEMBER 2023

One thousand one hundred years ago the Egyptian government ruled that, except for Coptic and Catholic, no Christian churches will be allowed to be build in the city of Cairo. Only a few years ago, they were allowed to rent a facility, but no new construction. Such has been the official policy for Cairo since the year 923 AD.

However, since President  El-Sisi has been in power, he has repeatedly pledged to allow the founding of five new Christian churches yearly.  Now he is allowing the right to build new churches in the city of Cairo.

We are pleased to  announce that the first non-Catholic, or non-Coptic (in more than 1,000 years) a Christian church has been approved for construction in Cairo, and is now more than fifty percent complete.  (We have purposely withheld the name of the church and it’s pastor to  protect them from terrorist attacks.)

A special thanks to The Lighthouse World Outreach Center in Monroe, Georgia and Pastor Raymond Hardy,  for the remaining fifty percent of the church’s construction. The cost has now been completely funded!!! What a blessing!

I was so thankful that I was able to go to Cairo during the second week of September, accompanied by Ron Teal, where we were   privileged to present the funds to the pastor. Needless to say, the church and pastor were quite excited, giving God all the praise and honor. Because the construction efforts of this church have been successful, and has progressed without any problems, passing the government’s credibility test, the El-Sisi government has pledged to approve fifty more Christian church construction applications. Truly, God is moving miraculously in Egypt and throughout the Islamic world.

Elsewhere in Egypt, “The God’s  Widow’s Farm” is still producing far greater than all other farms in the  region. In fact, harvests of wheat, corn, beans, and grapes have jumped to nine tons per acre this year, and onions, garlic, egg plant, and squash harvests have increased to seven tons per acre this year. Since this farm is God’s farm and is planted for the purpose of feeding and supporting widows, then it is under God’s authority. The number of widows we are supporting has increased  to 1,500 and the orphans we support  doubled. The inflation in Egypt has skyrocket out of control, God had to supply miraculously in order to cover the increase, which He did do through each one of you and the miracle of harvest increase. The farm has  become so “famous” that we receive offers weekly beyond the selling price of all other acreage in the region, but this is God’s farm, to be used for His purpose; so, it is not for sale.

Thank all of you who have supported our widows through our Bags of Hope program, which supplies our widows with cooking oil, sugar, rice, tea, macaroni, salt, pepper, honey, barley, and other staples, and the farm which supplies our widows with wheat that we grind into flour, corn that we grind into meal, beans, onions and other fresh products, as well as meat. Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! Amen! Egypt is receiving a harvest of souls.

It is through you that the scriptures are being fulfilled in that widows are being cared for and supported, and many souls saved.  (Dt. 10:18; 14:28-29; Ps 68:5; I Tim 5:3-16; James 1:27 among at least 100 other scriptures about widows.)

May the Lord give back to you abundantly!

In Christ,

Dr. Ron

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is a special time of the year! I love the trees changing colors and the cooler weather. I love to change my decorations and put pumpkins out.  Also, spending time with family and cooking their special recipes. We always went around the table and each person would say what they are thankful for.

My biggest thanks is to God. Saving me and giving me a wonderful husband, Ron. We are so thankful for Ron Jr, Cheri and Cyrus, and Brad, LeAnne and Cidney.  What a blessing to have them in our lives.  We travel a lot so we don’t get to see them often. Everyone is so busy, including us, but the love is still in our hearts, even if we are not together.

In the Bible, thanksgiving means “devotion, sacrifice, praise.” Thanksgiving is to glorify God as an act of worship, giving thanks for all things.

The true meaning of Thanksgiving focuses on relationship. Thanksgiving is a relationship between God and man. Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday in the United States and started in 1789.  In the United States, Thanksgiving is historically a day to praise and give thanks to God for our blessings and ask Him to heal the  nation’s wounds. Our country, in 2023, really needs a healing. Let’s all pray for the United States during the thanksgiving holiday.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! (Psalms 107:1)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High. (Psalm 7:17)

We are thankful for each one of you, and each widow and orphan is too.

God bless you and keep you!

Paula

WE ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR GRANDSON, CIDNEY, FOR MAKING A COMMITMENT TO BE BAPTIZED ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2023
